cPHulk is a service that protects your server against brute force attacks. Brute force attacks use automated system to presume the passcode of your web server. Hence, cPHulk is employed to monitor the cPanel services, Mail services, WHM servces, Secure Shell(SSH) access and the PureFTPd service.
This option lets you manage the IP addresses on your server’s whitelist. The IP addresses included in the whitelist are those for which cPHulk always give permission to login to your server. It is highly recommended you make sure that your own IP address is added to the whitelist so that the root account does not get locked out. A warning message is displayed in case your IP address in not included in the whitelist. You can add your IP address to the whitelist by clicking on ‘Add to Wishlist’ in the notification column.
You can delete one or multiple IP addresses from the whitelist. To delete a single IP addres, all you have to do is hit ‘Delete’ located to the right of the IP address.
