What is the Metrics Editor Interface?

Introduction
This feature is for cPanel and WHM version 68. Users can navigate to (cPanel >> Home >> Metrics >> Metrics Editor) to access this interface.

The Metrics Editor Interface helps users to select metrics programs to process users’ log files and provide traffic analysis for their account’s domains.

There are different types of metrics available and user needs to select from programs.

 
Steps to select which metrics to use:

 	You need to select checkbox for each metrics program to use for each domain on your account. The following programs can be opted for:

  • Analog Stats

This feature is for cPanel and WHM version 68. Navigate to (cPanel >> Home >> Metrics >> Analog Stats) this interface to work on it.

The Analog Stats interface help to access data from the Analog traffic statistics software. It compiles traffic statistics for your domain and organizes it by month making it manageable and easy to interpret. The software also gives graphical representation of the data the data for each month to show additional categories.

Steps to view Analog’s statistics for a domain:

  • Click Viewfor the domain you require information on. A new browser tab with the lists of each month containing Analog traffic statistics will pop up.
  • Select the month for which traffic statistics is needed. The data will be shown.

 

  • Awstats

This feature is for cPanel and WHM version 68. Navigate to (cPanel >> Home >> Metrics >> Awstats) this interface to work on it.

The Awstats interface presents traffic statistics from the Advanced Web Statistics (AWStats) software, compiling information about how users access your website.

The following visitor’s details are provided by AWStats:

  • Monthly, daily, and hourly averages in graphs and tables.
  • The links through which visitors access your website.
  • HTTP codes.
  • Operating systems.
  • Browser information.
  • Locales of origin.
  1. Click on Save.
