CardDAV is a client server address book protocol. It allows the users to access and share contact data on a server. CalDAV on the other hand is an internet standard which allows access to scheduling information on a remote server. CalDAV facilitates access to calendar data on a server as it works as a calendaring and scheduling client server protocol. From the Webmail interface webmail users can access the Calendars and Contacts Client Configuration Interface. The Calendars and Contacts Client Configuration Interface on cPanel contains the instructions to remotely connect the user’s to the third-party applications. It essentially connects to the users account’s Horde calendars and Address books. On the cPanel account interface the Calendars and Contacts Client Configuration menu is located under the Mail section.
