Users can configure the mail servers to scan the outgoing mails for spam with the help of Advanced Editor section of WHM’s Exim Configuration Manager interface (WHM >> Home >> Service Configuration >> Exim Configuration Manager). This feature blocks spam that the users deliver to the system.
However, this feature that the document explains, is basically an unsupported version and there is no guarantee that it will work properly in the near future.
It will be on the system administrator’s shoulder to manage and maintain the server’s database software properly, once a user perform the following steps on a server. Also, if any data loss occurred due to the performing of these steps, we are not responsible in any way.
It is strongly recommended to set the Apache SpamAssassin™ score with the Apache SpamAssassin™ Options setting available in the Basic Editor section of WHM’s Exim Configuration Manager interface (WHM >> Home >> Service Configuration >> Exim Configuration Manager).
Note that if system administrator enabled one of the two following settings in WHM’s Exim Configuration Manager interface (WHM >> Home >> Service Configuration >> Exim Configuration Manager), Apache SpamAssassin will automatically start scanning all the messages that the system will forward to remote email addresses:
