Reserved IP Address Editor

The Reserved IP Address interface makes the configuration of Apache possible for ignoring HTTP requests on some IP addresses. An IP address must exist on the server from beforehand for reserving it. IP addresses can be added to the server with WHM –(WHM >> Home >> IP Functions >> Add a New IP Address)Steps of adding an IP addressFor the desired IP address meant for reservation, select the reserved checkbox.
Next, click on Save.The Apache won’t use the selected IP addresses.The following interface allows the addition of an IP address to an IP address pool.For addition of multiple addresses, the format is-Class C CIDR – 192.168.0.128/25IP/Netmask-192.168.0 .128/255.255.255.128IP Range- 192.168.0.128 – 255 
Restarting ApacheClick on Rebuild Configuration and Restart Apache for rebuilding and restarting Apache
Use WHM’s HTTP Server (Apache) interface to restart and rebuild later on. (WHM >> Home >> Restart Services >> HTTP Server (Apache)). …

Steps of adding an IP address

  1. For the desired IP address meant for reservation, select the reserved checkbox.
  2. Next, click on Save.

The Apache won’t use the selected IP addresses.

The following interface allows the addition of an IP address to an IP address pool.

For addition of multiple addresses, the format is-

Restarting Apache

  • Click on Rebuild Configuration and Restart Apache for rebuilding and restarting Apache
