KernelCare License can be purchased from WHM.
Purchase From WHM
Initiate The License Purchase Process
We can purchase a KernelCare License on our desired server by working on the following procedure:
We need to log in as a root user in WHM or as a reseller account with privileges of root level.
We need to navigate to WHM’s Security Advisor (WHM >> Home >> Security Settings >> Security Advisor) interface.
Next, we need to click Up-grade to KernelCare in the KernelCare Security alert. We will see that a new interface will appear after that.
Log In To The cPanel Store
The System requests for access to this account. This happens if one has logged into their cPanel store account already. We need to verify whether the interface shows or displays the cPanel Store username and server name correctly. If so, then click Allow Access. A new interface will appear after that.
Verify And Complete Your Purchase
While purchasing a KernelCare License through WHM interface, there is an automatic selection by the system. It selects the appropriate License type for the server and helps in detecting the IPv4 address to License. For now, one can only be able to purchase monthly Licenses through WHM interface.
After going through all the above procedures, the server will download and install KernelCare License automatically. To check or verify whether the installation is done successfully or not, we can navigate to WHM’s Security Advisor interface (WHM >> Home >> Security Settings >> Security Advisor).
By using these four steps, we can be assured of the purchase of a KernelCare License on WHM server.
