Easy and optimized installation process. Version 11.52 is said to reduce installation time by 50% while some configurations are reduced to 22 minutes. This is a major improvement coming from the regular installation time which eats up a minimum of your hour just to install and update, using the version 11.50. This will surely save you a significant amount of time. The upgraded software uses the fast installation method by default. It uses a precompiled default EasyApache 3 configuration which is shipped as a tarball. This method also uses pre-built locale databases, thus, the script does not have to run while you are installing.

Another highlight of the software upgrade is that memory checks are already being done even at the start of the installation process. This will allow you to know if your operating system has met the minimum memory requirement for the upgrade.

Other key highlights of the upgrade

EasyApache 4. One of the newest features introduced by cPanel is EasyApache 4, the web host platform’s latest version of EasyApache 4. EA4 is a major reformat of how cPanel and WHM ships and maintains the Apache and PHP distribution. It now comes with binary RPMs and a standard package management tools so you have more options to choose from. This also allows the Apache and PHP updated.

Multi-PHP management and editing. With this update, hosting providers can directly manage the system’s default PHP version and the PHP version of any virtual host in the system. You can now install multiple versions of PHP on your servers. This brings a whole new experience on modification and configuration, thus, catering to a larger audience.

Enhanced calendar functionality. One of the most useful features of the 11.52 version is the improvement of cPanel and WHM’s calendar functionality. Since the 11.52 version uses a shared address book that has same-domain email addresses and a cross-domain invite feature, you will surely find its calendar enhancement very helpful for you and for your business.
