How to Manage DNS Local Resolvers

Your local DNS resolvers must be properly set on your server, for cPanel to install or function correctly. Your datacenter or ISP will supply you the IP addresses of at least two local DNS resolvers.

These servers allow your hosting server to resolve domain names to IP addresses. These must be properly set before cPanel will install or function correctly.

Please contact your datacenter or ISP with any questions about configuring your local resolvers on your servers.
