Once the user has set up the SFTP connection to their server, they have to transfer the backup archive or cpmove file to the home directory of the server. The server begins in the root directory by default. In order to navigate FileZilla, the appropriate information has to be entered in the text boxes – remote site and local site respectively. Navigation can also be done by double clicking on the folders that display in the interface of FileZilla.

  • In the Remote Site box, you have to enter /home.
  • There is an interface below the Local Site box from which you have to navigate to the directory that either contains the backup archive or the cpmove file.
  • Drag and copy the entire backup archive or cpmove file to the /home directory on the extreme right hand side of the interface. The system will automatically transfer your file to the home directory of the server.
