Using this feature an admin will be able to upload a locale to their server using an XML format. After a locale has been uploaded, users will be able to select it through it the cPanel interface.
The following steps must be performed in order to upload an existing locale:
Using the following interface you will be able to upload a language file of your own or a language file from a third-party.
Perform the following steps to upload a language file:
|/||The root language file is uploaded. This file provides verbiage for the cPanel interface if a necessary term is not present in the primary language files.|
|paper_lantern||The Paper Lantern theme’s language files are uploaded using this option.|
|Using a custom theme on the server||If a custom cPanel theme is available, you must choose that theme to upload its language file. The language files for custom themes are stored by the system in the location: /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/themename/lang/ directory|
Here ‘themename’ stands for the name of the custom theme that you have uploaded.
By following the steps outlined above, you will be able to upload a locale to your server in XML format. The steps have been divided into two sections – uploading an XML file and uploading a legacy language file.
