If you set your server’s FTP service to utilize the unmanaged setting, you may encounter issues with cPanel’s FTP-related interfaces. In cPanel and WHM rendition 11.40 and later, cPanel utilizes a touch file to decide if cPanel displays FTP interfaces. Additionally, cPanel possibly shows FTP-related interfaces if a framework administrator empowers FTP for the client.
Resolve the Touch file problem
Use the touch command to create the /var/cpanel/dynamicui/ftp file. The file determines whether cPanel will display FTP interfaces.

The unmanaged FTP RPM may erase the touch record amid an update. If this issue repeats on your server, always remember to run this command after any updates or upgrades.
