  5. In case the system does not uncompress it automatically, unzip the .zip configuration script file.
  6. Look for the hostname ‘Secure Web Disk file’, where your server’s hostname is represented by this very hostname.
  7. For configuring the Web Disk, open the file and allow it to run for a stipulated period of time.

How do you connect to Web Disk manually?

After clicking on Configure Client Access, the configuration information for the account will be displayed by the interface. Web disk can be connected to various software; namely Apple Operating Systems, BitKinex, Konquerer, Transmit, Nautilus and Windows Operating System.

Follow the given steps in order to connect to Apple Operating Systems:

  1. Apple’s Finder Application has to be opened.
  2. Select Connect to Server from the Go menu.
  3. In the text box which goes by the name of Server Address, enter an appropriate location and then click on ‘connect’.
  4. After that, enter your username and password of Web Disk’s account.
  5. Finally, click on ‘connect’ again and Web Disk will be connected to Apple Operating Systems.
