(Home > Email > View Sent Summary)

This feature will measure the total number of messages each domain on your server attempted to deliver over a specified period of time and data range. It will display the number of total attempts, the number of successful attempts, failed attempts, and the number of bytes sent by each and every domain.

How to view information on Sent Mails:

Follow the steps below to view the required information:

  1. You will first need to specify a time range for which you want to check the statistics. To do this, enter the Start Date, Start time, End date, and End time for your required time period.

NOTE – It will take more time to process the data if your inputted time range is larger.

  1. Then click on Run Report.

If you click Historical View, you’ll get the following 8 columns:

  • Domain
  • User
  • Successful
  • Deferrals
  • Failures
  • Failed and Deferred
  • Total Messages
  • Data Sent

You can add or remove columns from this table as you wish by selecting or deselecting the checkboxes.

If you click Current View, each account’s current status shows up. The following 4 columns are visible:

  • Relay per Hour – A green select icon means that the domain is still under its limit in terms of relayed messages from the beginning of the hour. A red one means it has exceeded. Note that the data range you have selected does not apply to this and the server owner can change the limit.
  • Defer + Fail per Hour – A green select icon means that the limit hasn’t been exceeded for these kinds of messages from the beginning of the hour. A red one implies the opposite. The selected data range doesn’t apply to this either, and the server owner can change this limit too.
  • Domain – The domain of origin for the messages.
  • Users – The owner of the domain.

You can add or remove columns from this table too by checking or unchecking the boxes next to the columns respectively.

How to view all emails sent by a particular user:

If you want to check more information about the mails sent by a specific user, go to the row with that user’s name. You will then be redirected by WHM to the Mail Delivery Reports section.

(Home > Email > Mail Delivery Reports)

Conclusion:

These are the steps to view the historical or the current data on sent mails.
