Add a CRON email

The Cron Email area of the interface enables you to enter an email address for the framework to send notices when your cron jobs run. To set an email address, perform the steps listed below:

  1. Enter the email address you wish receive the notifications in the EMAIL test box.
  2. Click UPDATE EMAIL

Add a CRON job

To add a CRON job, perform the below mentioned steps:

  1. Select the interim at which you wish to run the cron job from the proper menu option, or enter the desired value in the content boxes.
  • Common Settings — This menu enables you to choose a generally utilized interim. The framework will arrange the suitable settings in the Minute, Hour, Day, Month, and Weekday content boxes for you.
  • Minute — Use this menu to choose the quantity of minutes between each time the cron job runs, or the moment of every hour on which you wish to run the cron job.
  • Hour — Use this menu to choose the quantity of hours between each time the cron job runs, or the hour of every day on which you wish to run the cron job.
  • Day — Use this menu to choose the quantity of days between each time the cron job runs, or the day of the month on which you wish to run the cron job.
  • Month — Use this menu to choose the quantity of months between each time the cron job runs, or the period of the year wherein you wish to run the cron job.
  • Weekday — Use this menu to choose the times of the week on which you wish to run the cron job.
  1. In the Command content box, direct the command that you wish the framework to run.

 

Important:

  • You should indicate settings for the Minute, Hour, Day, Month, Weekday, and Command content boxes.
  • Exercise absolute caution when you utilize the rm direction in a cron job. In the event that you don’t proclaim the right alternatives, you may erase your home index’s information.
  1. Click Add New CRON job.

 

View Existing CRON job

The Current CRON jobs table displays the existing cron jobs.

 

Edit a CRON job

  2. Change the setting which needs to be changed and click on EDIT Line.

 

Delete a CRON job
