Under the “Contact Information” menu, you can set up basic contact details for your cPanel & WHM accounts. These include contact information as well as nameservers. Keep in mind that you need to enter something for all the items in the interface beginning with an *.
The Contact Information Options
There are ten options under the Contact Information menu, including the following:
Put in an alternate email address in this section so that, in the event you encounter problems, you will receive notifications via this address.
Fail to enter an email address here, and the system will notify the root user about the following:
This serves the similar function as the one above, except that you will receive the notifications via a cell phone address in the event problems arise.
Put in a username your server can log into the AOL Instant Messenger (AIM) so that the system will notify you about problems via this method.
This serves as the password for the AIM username you entered. Keep in mind that this is case sensitive, and that you should create a strong password for enhanced security.
You can use several AIM names for your accounts. You just have to separate them using commas.
You will receive notifications about problems when you put in a list of Access Tokens for the Pushbullet™ accounts separated by commas.
Here, key in a URL where you want to send notifications from a ticket system or a form handler. The alert the system sends out automatically includes relevant data, including the parameter’s hostname, subject, and body.
When you want to use other parameters, just add the keys after the URL. Separate these keys ad values with & (ampersand character).
Put here an ICQ number where you want your server to send notifications in case problems will arise.
This pertains to the created password for the ICQ number you just entered above.
You can use multiple ICQ IDs; you just have to separate them using commas.
