A Brief Overview of Calendars and Contacts in cPanel
cPanel is a control panel which is used for web hosting and has an interface that is graphical in nature. cPanel Calendars and Contacts can be set up on Apple® desktop and in mobile device operating systems.

The calendar (CalDAV) and contacts (CardDAV) setup information can be found in cPanel’s Calendars and Contacts interface.

We can set up the feature using the following key steps (cPanel >> Home >> Email >> Calendars and Contacts).

Setting  up calendar and contact applications

The following steps need to be performed in order to set up the calendar and contact applications. Select the tab that corresponds to the operating system.

After selecting the tab, the Account Configuration Menu has to be accessed

The following steps need to be performed if the calendars (CalDAV) and contacts (CardDav) account have to be accessed on the configuration menu on the iOS device:

  1. The Settings Option must be selected
  2. Next, the user must select the option Accounts and Passwords
  3. The Add Account option must be selected under the Accounts option
  4. The user must select the other option

 

The appropriate account type must be selected by performing either of the following actions.

  • Under CONTACTS, the Add CardDav Account has to be selectedto add a calendar account.
  • Under CALENDARS, the Add CalDAV Account has to be selected to add a contacts account.

 

Finally the relevant account information must be entered in the appropriate text boxes in order to complete the setup of the account.
