Here are some of the highlights of v64:
- Pluggable iContact feature
The new pluggable iContact feature was introduced in cPanel & WHM version 64, which allows you to send server alert notifications to custom destinations such as IRC servers, Slack, HipChat, and more. For more information, read the How to Create a Notification Plugin for WHM documentation.
- EasyApache 4 interface
EasyApache 4 has been updated so that it will now attempt to automatically correct any yum caching issues. cPanel has also added the ability to upload custom profiles in the EasyApache 4. TLS Prior to 1.2 Deprecated
Please note that starting in version 68 new installations of cPanel will no longer support TLS versions below 1.2 as SSL and TLS 1.0 are no longer acceptable for PCI compliance as of last June. This will not affect previous installations of cPanel. Please note that all non-compliant browsers and automations will need to be updated to work with TLS 1.2.
Here is a list of browsers and their TLS support, make sure to verify that your browser and automations are prepared for this deprecation before it affects your systems!
