Fantastico De Luxe Requirements

If you have compiled your apache with phpsuexec support, you may encounter problems with some of the scripts being installed.

Fantastico De Luxe will run only on CPanel servers running FreeBSD or Linux and requires root access in order to install. It requires a working backend (Cpanel ports) PHP installation (available by default).
Fantastico De Luxe makes use of following shell commands: wget (or a renamed copy thereof, permissions: 700), lynx (permissions: 700), gzip, cp, mv, rm
End users access Fantastico De Luxe through their CPanel and they will need one MySQL database for each installation.

How does Fantastico De Luxe compare to other auto-installers?

Some companies offer additional scripts for the CPanel Addon-Scripts feature. This means, they have no control on special features, are limited to the possibilities offered by CPanel, can not fullfil customers' requests other than adding new scripts.
